Altagether Requesting Neighborhood Captains

Gary and I are tapped out with Altadena Heritage. Wondering if anyone in this group would like to become a Neighborhood Captain as defined by Altagether. See the web site for more details: https://altagether.org/

Hey guys I’ve been under the weather and I missed both the zoom meetings they had regarding the matter. But, they said there is more to come and I do have some interest in doing so. I just filled out the form and submitted it. Let’s see if it’s for me and let’s see if I’m the right fit for it as well.

By the way, Darrell, I remember you mentioning we can be a member or join the Altadena heritage for a yearly fee? Is that still an option?

Thanks.

Michael,

Good to hear you are getting better and that you’re thinking of becoming a neighborhood captain. Note that if that is something that works out, both Gary and I will support you in any way we can!!!.

Yes, you join AH in a couple of ways. We’ve temporarily suspended membership renewals, and are providing the next year free. Anyone who donates, but is not a member, will be added to the FYI list to receive our monthly email updates. You can also join as a member at various levels. Feel free to visit the Home page and membership page at altadenaheritage.org.

Warm regards,
-Darrell

Awesome thank you!

What’s the $125 option…

Sorry for all the ??s I just don’t know what the differences between the options are, or if it doesn’t matter at all.

Michael,

No problem! :slightly_smiling_face: Basic memberships are $25 Neighbor and $50 Friend. The higher level memberships are $125 Patron, $250 Heritage Hero and $500 Altadena Angel. In normal years we would hold multiple events where all members would get discounts to the events. Additionally, there are other events exclusive to Patrons and above which would be free. This year is rather dubious, but perhaps in the 2nd half we would hold some events. Currently, we’re working on a series of Altadena Heritage Smart Talks to cover various issues with the Eaton Fire recovery.

Warm regards,
-Darrell
